Smart Battery Solutions

One Swap at a Time

HYBA’s vision is to provide the smartest battery solutions to revolutionize electric appliances.

We believe modular swappable technology is key to reduce our industry carbon footprint, drive efficiency, and foster a circular economy.

What we offer

We provide batteries and a smart swap system. HYBA POD is designed to optimize efficiency and safety.

  • Customize the power to serve different application sizes and purposes  (group up to six battery packs of 1,8kWh each).

  • Battery as a service (BAAS): Rent or buy HYBA PODs tailored to your individual needs.

  • Smart Battery Management system (TCU): Remote monitoring and predictive maintenance for improved battery performance and safety.

  • Resource-efficient maintenance & upgrade through modular structure.

  • Access to the latest global technology and reliable manufacturers

  • HYBA fully handles battery health and end-of-life management.

  • Standardized design makes the battery exchangeable across different applications.

Applications

The main driver of the HYBA battery design is to improve safety and reusability.

That’s why we have built a modular bottom up system consisting of singular cells, that are assembled into stand-alone modules with a focus on easiness of disassembling and cell replacement.

The modules can be stacked before they are merged into a battery pack: the HYBA POD. You can group up to 6 PODS in one application.

The technical heart of the unique battery system are the TCU (telematics control unit) enabling remote monitoring and user-interface access and the innovative BMS (Battery management system).

HYBA holds patents for the complete hardware system and the general design.

HYBA POD

On our mission to transform battery solutions we join forces with national and international partners.

HYBA is an active member of SBMC (The Swappable Battery Motorcycle Consortium), a partnership between some of the most important players in the light mobility market: Polaris, Piaggio, KTM, Yamaha, Honda.

We develop common technical specifications and a world standard for interchangeable battery systems.

Partners

HYBA is also partner of:

  • STAN4SWAP – Standardization roadmap for swappable battery systems for L-cat vehicles.

  • eit RawMaterials (co-funded by the EU)
